Root Canal

DID YOU KNOW: YOUR ROCK HARD TEETH HAVE PULP (BLOOD VESSELS AND NERVES) AT ITS CENTER !

WHAT ?

Dental pain is usually due to caries which spread and infect the nerves of the tooth. The infected nerve needs to be removed to avoid it from progressing into an abscess and cause bone loss.

Root canal is a treatment to save your badly infected or damaged tooth instead of removing it.

This procedure can relieve you from pain , allowing you to enjoy all foods you love without any pain from heat, cold or biting too hard.

HOW ?

The procedure involves removing the damaged area of the tooth (with a drill called as bur), cleaning it with saline, distilled water and other chemicals, disinfecting it and filling it and sealing it with an inert material called as gutta percha.

Most of the teeth after root canal treatments require crowns to improve the appearance of the tooth and to protect it from breakage.

Our endodontists use advanced technology, materials and techniques and make the treatment totally painless !
